Ayesha is currently studying economics at university and is a Child Parliament Speaker in the Bangladesh Debating Society, as well as the Cultural Secretary of Khulna Sahittya Majlish and Executive Board member of Family Planning Association of Bangladesh (FPAB)
Ayesha has experience of teaching at a school for visually impaired students. Ayesha hopes to use the Youth For Change platform to bring definite changes and contribute to the development of young people and the progress of the nation.
Renesa is currently studying under British Council Examination Board. In 2012 she joined the National Children's Task Force (NCTF) as a district member then later took the role of General Secretary of central committee, and has been part of several youth led organisations in her home town in Sirajganj.
Renesa believes that every child should have the ability to learn, lead, decide and thrive, and joined Youth For Change as she she wants to bring an end to early marriage and gender discrimination.
Shawon is currently studying in the Department of Anthropology at Jahangirnagar University, Bangladesh and has always considered child, early and forced marriage to be an obstacle for the greater development of society. His passion for preventing this issue led to him joining Youth For Change and he hopes that with the support of the Youth For Change platform his message will reach a wider audience.
Maisha is a student and youth activist whose inspiration comes from her mother and the young freedom fighters and martyrs of Bangladesh.
Recently she participated in Bangladesh Model UN and is a current Youth Advisory Panel member of Plan Bangladesh. Maisha believes that the Youth For Change team can help eradicate CEFM from Bangladesh and empower women in the process.
Sifat is currently studying Civil Engineering in Chittagong University of Engineering and Technology and has been a youth activist since 2008 with the National Children's Task Force (NCTF) He has worked as a Child Researcher of NCTF under ORTOB project of Save the Children, Plan Bangladesh and Manusher Jonno Foundation. Sifat is an Associate Fellow of Royal Commonwealth Society and a Global Young Influencer of Plan International.
Sifat believes gender discrimination to be one of the alarming problems in his society as the violence mainly affects children and young people. He wants to be a youth leader and to discuss the ways to diminish these problems on an international level.
Saima is involved in the Ghashful Child Forum, working against child marriage, child labour and child harassment. She believes that young people in Bangladesh are often neglected and do not get proper opportunities for explore their potential. Saima believes that Youth For Change can create a space for these young people to raise their voice collectively and lead on their own issues.
