Youth For Change Bangladesh is Running an internship program for Y-Moves Project, looking for a committed and enthusiastic Administrative and Human Resources Officer.

Youth for Change Bangladesh (YFC-BD) is a part of the global youth-led coalition of youth activists titled “Youth For Change” working in partnership with organizations and governments to create positive change in society. Youth For Change launched in 2015 as a project of Plan International and became an independent entity in 2018. YFC currently have organizations based in Bangladesh, UK & Tanzania. Youth For Change Bangladesh has been registered as a youth organization under the Dept. of Youth Development, Ministry of Youth and Sports and the Registrar of Joint Stock Companies and Firms under the Societies Registration Act 1860 of the Govt. of Bangladesh.

Aparajeyo-Bangladesh (AB) is a National Child Rights organization. It was founded in 1995 through the localization of an international NGO. The organization commenced activities in 1976, working with children living in and around the slums of Dhaka city.

Y-Moves Project:
Y-moves (Youth movements) is a project for Plan International Bangladesh
for advancing young people especially through girls’ rights to participation,
protection and sexual reproductive health in Bangladesh as well as to
contribute to building a dynamic and inclusive civil society.

What we do:
1. Capacity building of young people, especially girls and
young women to promote sexual and reproductive health
and rights (SRHR) including prevention of Sexual and
gender-based violence (SGBV).
2. Strengthening capacity and collaboration of civil society,
child and youth-led networks.
3. Increasing responsiveness and positive social norms
among government duty bearers and community
gatekeepers.
Who are we working with:
1. Young people aged 12 to 24, adolescents who are members of the
National Children’s Task Force in all districts of Bangladesh.
2. Govt. officials, policymakers, members of Parliamentary Caucus on
Child Rights, line ministry officials, district administration and line
ministry officials in the district.
3. CSOs, parents and community gatekeepers and religious leaders.

Job Title: Intern-Administrative and Human Resource Officer
Main responsibilities: To work as an administrative and human resource officer for YFC BD.

Major Duties & Responsibilities
•Implement effective practices in administrative and human resource functions.
•Assist and support accounts department in financial operations.
•Ensure timely completion of financial and other administrative audits.
•To keep the Line Manager informed on all relevant matters.
•Maintaining Documentations as per the requirements of the human resource necessities, and as per the guideline of YES BD, YFC BD and Aparajeyo-Bangladesh

General duties-
•Procurement and Inventory Management
•Procure fixed assets, stationery, print materials and other materials as per project requirement
•Liaise with different vendors
•Manage and maintain the project vehicles and their drivers
•Provide logistic support for meeting/seminar/workshop (e.g. in booking venues and food, purchasing materials/print materials and conveyance)
•Initiate and monitor repair and maintenance for an office building, furniture and equipment and project vehicle
•Keep records of all original MoU’s contracts, rental deeds and insurance documents
•Keeping the message of the staff in their absence.
•Must have sufficient knowledge in office management, file maintaining
•Collecting & preserving the address of other organizations for communication when required
•Responsible to keep track record of each day vehicle expenses and prepare and submit monthly reports to the Line Manager
•Supervising the housekeeping of the office premises and ensuring proper look and feel of the office floors and furniture layout
•Support internal and external auditors for completion of respective project audit
•Maintain records of fixed assets and stock register regularly
•Maintain and check the logbooks (fuel, lubricant, maintains etc) of the motorcycles.•Provide necessary support to procurement related work and its documentation
•Ensure all logistic supports in time for all of the project team members and field staff to run the project(s) smoothly
•Conduct and assist for procurement related activities for both head office and projects
•Coordinate to send all official letters, documents and reports to the donor, governing body, other organizations and stakeholders
•Compile and update employee records
•Any other assigned job by the Management

Educational Qualification– Graduation in any subjects (Students can also apply).
